The Effectiveness Of Pre-Marriage Sexual Education Using Booklet Media On The Knowledge Of Adolescents In Banjaran 1st Negeri High School, Bandung District

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a transition period between child life and adult life which is marked by biological and psychological growth and development. Teenagers' lack of knowledge about sex education can influence sexual behavior related to free sex and this lack of knowledge can influence teenagers' attitudes towards taking actions that result in free sex. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in teenagers' knowledge about premarital sexual education before and after being given education using booklet media. This research is quantitative, with the type of research used being a pre-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling, namely 223 respondents. The Wilcoxon test shows that the p-value < (0.05) So there is a difference in teenagers' knowledge before and after being given education using booklet media.
