PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG PERAWATAN PAYUDARA MELALUI MEDIA LEAFLET TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU NIFAS DI PMB “S” KABUPATEN BANDUNG

Abstract

Breast care is an action to take care of the breasts, especially in the postpartum period to facilitate the release of breast milk, one of the goals of breast care is to launch breast milk, in addition to launching breast milk, it is also to maintain cleanliness and health in the breasts. Knowledge is the result of knowing, and this occurs after people perceive a certain object. Attitude is an expression of a person's feelings that reflect his liking or dislike for an object. The type of research used is quantitative with pseudo-experimental methods, researchers do not have the flexibility to manipulate subjects, meaning that random groups are usually used as a basis for determining treatment and control groups. the results of the knowledge and attitudes of postpartum women after being given health education through leaflet media about breast care are good knowledge as many as 30 respondents out of 100%, and all postpartum women have very good attitudes as many as 30 respondents 100%. Before health education was conducted, postpartum women who had poor knowledge were 29 respondents (96.7%) and 1 respondent (3.3%). After being given health education, all postpartum women had good knowledge as many as 30 respondents (100%). The results of the T-test in this study obtained a p-value of 0.000 (0.05), it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is an effect of health education.
